I would like to congratulate current Pot Black player Steve Collins on being confirmed as the new Pot Black F.C Secretary, after being successfully head hunted, by Club Manager Danny McKinley.Former Sec Rob 'Retard' Sterry had decided to resign from the position after confirming he will be going to Oz during the 2008/09 season, following the announcement by P.M Gordon Brown that it was to be reinstated as a penal colony.
Steve's background and experience in this role is second to none and commented that he'd ".... bounced on many a chairman's knee to get the job done" and "If Sterry could do it, so could a paraplegic baboon."
As a result of this Rob Sterry will now have more time to dedicate and focus on his other club position of 'Party Liason' with special priority being given to grooming (not the internet chat room type of grooming!) an eventual successor after speculation in the press indicating that Max Wall & Danny Rose were joint 2-1 favourites.
