Like most great challenges since the beginning of time, alcohol and male bravado obviously have played a large part as I formally bet Neil Banks I would beat him in a 100m dash to his absolute discust! Admittedly the Pot Black Grand Slam celebrations may have caused me to be a little rash, but as my thoughts began to clear and initial over confidence began to wain, Mr Banks refered to me as the human sloth and the race is most definitely on!!!!!The official date will be confirmed at a later date, but the month will be June giving both competitors time for preperation.
As a result of this I would like to open up the option of other challenges, as any of you are welcome to dare any other Pot Black member to a sporting event long jump maybe? shotput? or egg & spoon? which could be held on the same day like a Pot Black sports day, which like most P.B days/nights out will involve beers!
