Pot Black Fight to County Final!!!

Pot Black's Sunday Side reached new heights yesterday after they fought off the challenge of a physically strong Whitton Maypole 88 in the Sportsgaurd Suffolk FA Sunday Cup Semi Final.
A coach full of ardent P.B followers led by mascot Pauline (pictured left) who was later sadly penetrated by Rob Sterry, joined the players at Victory Rd Leiston.
Maypole took the lead in the first half with a sweetly struck volley leaving Richi Reeder nothing to do but watch, as it found the net. But as Pot Black have proved Saturdays and Sundays this season, we fight for each other like a pack of wild dogs and it's not over til Ross asks the bus driver for a pee stop! Up to the plate stepped David 'Daisy' Edmunds who with 10 mins left gambled on a 3-5-2 formation, which paid almost instant dividends as Keiron Waldrope cracked one home to send the faithful into raptures and with only a few seconds of normal time remaining Rory French lifted the ball over the keepers head and began his celebration before it hit the net. 2-1!
The Cup Final venue and opponent will be announced in the next few days, but we have til 26th April'09 with the knowledge we are one of the two best Sunday sides in Suffolk, after then who knows?
Viva L'Orange.
