Good god, ask the Crab and he will tell you, if there is one thing I am, its thorough. I have been searching all day for places to stay baring in mind the following criteria. Needs to be central, needs to be near food places so Ross can grab a pizza on route back to his room or an ‘El Kebabo – the multi national word for Kebab’, an OAP room complete with commode and defibrillator just incase, and a place that can accommodate 13 other lads in the smallest possible number. Don’t worry I haven’t forgot anyone, 13 plus the 2 OAP’s equals 15….that’s how manys going right?
So cutting to the chase I have gone for a pretty little place 2 mins walk from the main nightlife on Wenceslas square. Should avoid any taxi rides which really aren’t necessary, unless of course you’re Danny who uses the taxi firms as maps or tourist information centres….”DMc: Take me to this hostel (pointing to the tour card)…Taxi D: “Its over there mate”….DMc “Ahh thanks”
In honour of Neil Banks who cannot attend this year as he has fathered his 8th child, although this one is legitimate, the hostel is aptly named Hostel 123. Where’s the tenuous link there I here you say? Well we all know Neil could easily slip into the Jackson 5 with his tight afro weave and one of their most famous hits was ABC 123. So from here on out we shall refer to the hostel as “ABC…as easy as 123” in honour of Tito Banks.
One of the other reasons for choosing this place was because its apartments and I quite like the idea of ridding my room of water and buying in so much beer we have to clean our teeth with it. I may even wash my anous with it. Oh yeah, and its slap bang on top of one of Pragues best Sports bars, but we wont be using that…much!
So to recap on all the important info you might wanna remember,
