With Kev's antics of last week, very fresh in his own mind, he rang me yesterday for a general chat but apologised once again (and I gather he felt he needed to do the same to one or two of you).Well I admire Kev (Pictured left in anti ref abuse kit) for having the balls to stand up and say..." I screwed up, my bad!" But personally I think we all need to look at the bigger picture and re-direct that frustration.
Firstly we all love this club. We also are fighting for the same side, and remember that when I shout from the side line... "On your bloody toes birdy" or "Rob, he's behind you", Or Boydie and Kev scream for the back, its not personal. We just know every individual in this squad is a good player and each of you are always capable of giving a little more.
The challenge over the next few weeks on the lead up to Christmas, is not just to overcome some tough opponents, but to really work on team spirit, lets make sure we're giving constructive criticism, make sure if some messes up you give them a lift, if someone does something well make sure it is celebrated, and most of all lets have fun and enjoy yourself... So after today's match drink plenty and have a laugh win or lose and at the Pre-Xmas bash bring your partners or family because they are all a part of P.B too.
