The Pot Black management would like to take this opportunity to explain...In the last few days, several comments have come in from our old friend Mr. Anon, who we now know is a Representative of Hearts of Oak F.C, which have been a quite derogatory, such as 'you should all be in 1 big bra as you're a bunch of tits' and 'getting a point off Hearts must be like winning the lottery for Pot Black'.
The sad thing is, that this Muppet has come onto another Football Clubs Website and is angry that we are slightly bias in our feeling and match reports etc.... Well F**K ME SHERLOCK what were you expecting!
After much deliberation between the Pot Black Board we have decided that we won't be removing the comments option from our site, but we will be vetting them slightly more, as some other rivals such as Micki Williams (also of Hearts) have made some genuine, pleasant and funny contributions which we always welcome... so why let one knob jockey ruin it for everyone, so from now on lets just ignore the comments as I will be deleting them asap.
The main thing that I would like to re-confirm at this the point is the whole reason we set up our website was so that we could keep our lads informed of whats going on and have a giggle. Yes like all team Websites we will be extremely bias! But it's not because we think we're the best players in the world or are better than everyone else, as we hold all our league opponents in the highest respect, we just think we are the best football club from Boca Juniors to Juventus.
We don't take the piss out of others, we only take the piss out of each other and that's a fact.
OK so we have matching training tops and we have some mouthy individuals, myself included, but sh*t I'm still mouthy in Jeans & T-Shirts, we just want to create unity amongst our squad.
We pride ourselves in being a family club with a great social side, with children and parents of the players getting equally involved that's just the way we are... When you're not being paid to play, you need to really enjoy every second you spend with your team mates on a Saturday and that's why we do what we do!
So please don't take our attitude and comments on this site as being big headed or above our station, we just love our club and at the end of the day when on our Website, you came to us, we're not rubbing it any ones face.
