Pot Black Sports Day@ Normantson Park
Starting at 3pm Saturday
All players old & new welcome + families & Kids.
Never fear, it would appear that all is well and our sports day is going full steam ahead as planned. Initial fears around the weather seem to have disappeared after the B.B.C 5-day forecast says sunny with 19 degrees Celsius max and low pollen for those who's heads tend to inflate (keep your sarcastic comments to yourself).
After I reconsidered my original plan to hold it at Barnards Meadow, went by the way side when I realised the last time I climbed the fence into there, I was 12 years old and the equivalent of a whole Tom Miles lighter! So, an all round no go!
So that all the fun doesn't have to stop early.... Mick Wall has organised a Quiz for us down the club afterwards, so we'll head down there after the rounders action has finished for shits & Giggles, and after that if anyone is left standing he'll organise killer darts or pub golf etc.
Things To Bring:
BEER!!! (or alternative beverage such as Lambrini etc for the girls & Danny Rose)
Sandwiches (bring your own picnic)
Blanket/chairs
Beer
A Bin Bag (There won't be empty can's when we arrive! And nor when we leave!)
The P.B sports day really is what you make of it so don't expect an opening ceremony but If you all muck in and have a laugh then it should be great!!!!!
