Well boys as you may or may not know, I in true coal mining town tradition have been scrimping and saving the Pot Black Penny's by cleaning the current kit each week out of my own sparse pocket and saving the 10 squid in a biscuit tin behind my slender tone Abs definer.As it stands we are well on course for buying a new kit from Poundstrecher in the January sales when Cooper pays his subs up.
Now firstly the quickest way to speed up a new kit is if anyone knows a family member or friend who's either self-employed or has a generous boss who would like..
Weekly advertising on our shirts at each game and in the Lowestoft Journal as our M.O.M sponsor for the next 4years or so (I'll start the reviews again if we get hard cash), a permanent advert on our web page while our sponsor and 25 potential new customers (our players). Then all we require is 300 measly English pound coins.... not a lot to ask, you could put your sister on the game and rack that up in a night!
Now the second major question is, which ever way we get the kit... What colour kit would take your fancy?
Now please consider do we keep our now traditional and instantly recognisable Tangerine and Navy or do we spruce up our image? Now before you suggest it there are three options that are a no go...
- Black - League rules state NO BLACK KITS!
- White - As I've got to clean the F**KER!
- Yellow & Green as Our Captain and Vice-Captain will refuse to play in it, plus when Norwich get relegated to our league, we'll have a kit clash.
