Well I always think the sign of a good night is how you feel the next day and what you can remember?Well on the basis that I thought I'd broken my wrist, took the skin of my knee and my elbow, I'd say it was a bloody good night.
Although until I'd seen some pictures, courtesy of Danny Rose, there we're so many gaps that were suddenly filled in!
The day started in true P.B style with early drinks, as we wandered into 'The Corton Saloon' at 3pm on Saturday with one Cowboy instantly setting himself up for a fall.... I know what you're thinking Sterry or Banksey! But no, on this occasion it was young Ollie, mate of Dale Andrews from the Sunday side who arrived at a Bike ride on a kids scooter!!! Oh Dear! Bring out 'the funnel' Mr Wall!
The Saloon's came thick and fast as the forfeit drinks kicked in.... The Sun Rise Inn, The Oxford Arms, The Prince Albert, The Falcon, The Crown, The Blue Anchor, The Triangle Tavern, The Volunteer and The Welcome to name but a few!
Somewhere in the middle of all that, our guest of honour Lil' Chris finally arrived for his Pot Black F.C photo call, outside 'The Oxford Arms' (pictured above) but none of us expected him to arrive and nearly run 'The Retard' and Dale Andrews over in the middle of road as they had a showdown! Never mind no harm done!
Special thanks must go to the wonderful staff at 'The Prince Albert Public House' who were good to their word and provided us the use of their Executive Lounge! It proved to be probably the funniest part of the night!
On the basis I had reports of Cowboy spotting's all over town in the early hours of Sunday morning, from different sources I'd say it was yet another amazing success!
