Readers, I wanted to share some observations I have made whilst trawling the net in my capacity as a ‘web type person’. I came across these two videos which perfectly illustrate the zeitgeist of PB this season.The first is a catchy little tune written by ‘Lonely Island’, their name bares no significance to our season but the lyrics serve as a perfect analogy for what many of experienced when we secured second place this season.

The second is a video of a chap who we should not judge by first impressions alone. By making that initial judgement of being past his best years we dismiss his apparent lust for life, competently displayed in this video. He put me in mind of the Boyd’s this season, despite their advanced years, the ambition and lust for winning they demonstrate has ergo brought the team on to a new level
