Vinny had decided at the end of last season to go into premature retirement from Saturday football, after winning a cabinet full of trophies with Hearts, and before that Lowestoft Reserves and Trowel & Hammer.
Despite plea's from his former club, Vinny has been tempted back into action by the thought of a new challenge and a revitalised passion for the game after an enjoyable Sunday season this year.
This transfer comes at a great time for L'Orange, as this week vice-captain Adam Tantony who's re-occurring injury and work commitments means he is unlikely to turn out for side again this season, but plans to work hard through the summer to win back a place. Ross Jones also seems to be finding it difficult to shake of his niggling woes as last weeks pre-match warm up leaves him back a square one. Although another positive which shows how the clubs reputation has increased, was when the club was contacted by an excellent Anglian Comb player, who offered his services to P.B after becoming disillusioned at his current Lowestoft based club, but on this occasion I declined on the basis that at present we did not require any further players.
Good Luck Vinny, It's great to have you on board and I know the lads will make you feel welcome.
