Congratulations lads, with Xmas upon us I am delighted to confirm we will be entering 2009 in 4th place, equal on points with Kirkley 'A' but being pipped to 3rd place by a solitary goal, on top of this we have the second best defensive record in the league (Hearts of Oak 12 goals) only leaking 13 goals, not bad when you consider 4 of those were in one match our only defeat of the season.
As expected Hearts are running away with the league, but that is something for little un-fancied Pot Black to be proud of! Well Done boys, 'Viva L'Orange'!
