P.B Legend passes on the reins!

Pot Black Legend and Assistant Manager Kevin 'Hollywood' Sherwood, who following discussions with Manager Danny McKinley has decided to pass on the captain's armband for the forth coming season.

One key reason for this is, the manager's preference of an outfield player taking the lead on the pitch, following 'Hollywood's' decision to serve P.B, as first choice keeper after his heroics last season following a nasty injury to Pot Black stalwart Graham Mansbridge.

Kev, who's Manager describes him as his "...greatest ever signing!" Has served as Captain for much of his Pot Black career taking over from Paul Mansbridge in 2005, and racking up an impressive 22 goals in 125 games since joining L'Orange.

After much deliberation Darren 'Silverback' Boyd (pictured left) has accepted his managers offer of the captaincy for the new season. Darren lead his previous club Hearts of Oak to a league and cup double last season, but said "...He hasn't been this excited about the start of a new season for years."

The fact that Darren and brother Gary's first match is versus their old club, Captain Darren joins his management team of McKinley & Sherwood in their desire for a confident, enthusiastic, and full blooded display.

Good luck lads, lets get fired up!
