Corton Fail in Top Transfer Saga

Pot Black are delighted to announce that the biggest transfer saga of the summer has finally come to an end with Adam Tantony stating his love for Pot Black F.C.

With the newly formed Corton Res side entering the Anglian Combination, rumours began circulating that 'Tan-tony Falco' was seen as their top summer target as a creative play maker much in the way that Real Madrid have chased Cristiano Ronaldo.

Adam is currently undergoing physiotherapy for scar tissue on his ankle which was part of the reason he was unsure weather he would be playing for anyone next season. Thankfully at 7pm tonight, the physio has given Adam the go ahead to begin playing again and by 8pm he was signing on for 2008/09, a clear indication of were his future and his heart lies.

Despite the fact Corton Res have failed in their attempts to snare Adam Tantony, they have succeeded in tempting away another Adam.... As young left back Adam Goldspink has been drawn by the thought of playing at a higher level.

Adam has only been with Pot Black for one season but during his short time with the club his progression has been immense as the youngster went from being seen as cover to holding down a regular place in the back line making 21 appearances scoring 1 goal.

Pot Black would like to thank Adam for his commitment and enthusiasm last season and for his maturity in informing of his desires for next season. Adam has also stated that he refused to sign for Corton 'A' in Lowestoft & District Div 2 as he will still be signing on for P.B if he has a week of and is required.

Corton have also picked up another ex-P.B player as Ash Eden has also put pen to paper after he announced last month that competition for places at Pot Black meant he was going to search for a regular start.... Good Luck lads all at P.B are behind you.
