With the initial plans of two seperate 1 hour 7-a-side friendlies going by the way side, as Pakefield struggled to raise enough players, as a result the 2 hour session took on a very friendly, friendly feel.With a great turn out from the P.B squad despite the fact several players had to be torn away from their chips and Ice creams down the beach. Most pleasing was the improving fitness levels as despite the immense heat the lads never stopped running and since I was playing for the Pakefield side I can confirm the two Pot Black sides played some excellent keep ball.
As promised we did manage shooting practice although for one or two of you it was more like shuttle runs.... mentioning no names Jonsey (pictured left) & Buttman.
Lastly, thanks to Steve Craft and his Pakefield boys.... as he could quite easily of called off, but I'm glad they didn't. Thanks Again.
